I often wonder where all the time we have goes, but 10 years ago it was 2002 Feb Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. I did get on the volunteer list for the Peaks in Provo with the Hockey teams. I got to go to SLC and pick up a Packet of everything that we got, the Coat, pants gloves, hats, pins, purses and the big bag to put everything in. I have used my coat and pants going up to the ski slopes snow shoeing and just to keep warm over the years. My gloves I keep out all winter long. I worked with Inter Mountain Health and did my 40 hours both weeks and still did the 8 hour shift and 6 hour shifts for the Olympics it was someday 16 hours of work, but all two weeks went to fast and I did get to see some of the games with the hockey teams. Did buy some tickets to see some also. My daughter Polly danced with the American Folk Ballet which performed at Capital Theater in Salt Lake City Ty her husband now was on the management for the E Center for the men's hockey. Polly put in months of work with that group for the Arts during the Olympics, she danced with them for their performance in Salt Lake City. Ty worked for nearly a year with them for that one Venue. Robin my third daughter was also one of the dancer in the show for the Para Olympics this is the two costume's she wore durning that performance. she was one of many dancers that works months learning that parts and then performing them for the world to see. My oldest daughter Jennie was involved with the show for the Para Olympics. She put in more hours than anyone and know with the dancers and helping put the show together for that beautiful outstanding performance. We can all be proud this month and remember the fun, the work and the project that was done for the world to see. And think back on how it moved us to where we are today.
